Color & Theme Options at a Glance
Before diving into individual customization parameters, it’s helpful to get a high-level view of how color and theme options work together in your PDF reports.
These options allow you to control the visual identity of your reports using parameters such as background_color, text_primary_color, text_secondary_color, heading_color, and theme_color, along with front_image and report_name for cover design and report naming, ensuring that every generated PDF aligns seamlessly with your theme.
The screenshot below provides a consolidated overview of key colors and theme-related parameters and highlights where each one is applied within the report layout. This overview is especially useful for quickly validating your design configuration before generating reports at scale.
Note: These color and theme options apply only to Vedic PDF Reports.
1. text_primary_color
The text_primary_color parameter defines the color used for the main readable content throughout the report, including paragraphs, tables, planet details, and core astrological information. Selecting a well-contrasted and readable primary text color typically a dark shade on a light background ensures clarity, improves reading comfort, and allows users to easily consume detailed astrological insights across the entire PDF.

2. text_secondary_color
The text_secondary_color parameter controls the color of supporting and less-prominent text within the report, such as labels, side navigation text, and contextual information. Using a slightly muted or softer shade compared to the primary text helps establish a clear visual hierarchy, ensuring secondary details remain visible without distracting from the main content.

3. heading_color
The heading_color parameter defines the color of headings and section titles across the report. Headings guide readers through different sections of the pdf, making structure and navigation intuitive. A strong, contrasting heading color helps each section stand out while reinforcing your brand’s visual identity. This parameter plays a key role in creating emphasis and improving content scannability.

4. background_color
The background_color parameter sets the base color of the report pages. This color forms the foundation of the overall design and greatly influences the report’s visual tone whether it feels traditional, modern, calm, or vibrant. Soft and neutral background colors are generally recommended to ensure text and graphical elements remain visually comfortable and well‑contrasted.

5. theme_color
The theme_color acts as the accent or highlight color throughout the report. It is commonly used in dividers, charts, borders, and other decorative or emphasis elements. This parameter ties the entire design together and gives the report a cohesive branded appearance. A well‑chosen theme color adds personality to the report without distracting from the astrological content.
